Alright, it's time for another test. I'm studying feverishly to get ready for it. All my other classes and work schedule have not allowed much time to study for this test so I might pull an all nighter. I hate staying up all night but I'm prepared with my 5 hour energy drink. These little suckers actually have enough power to keep me up all night. I've made D's on my past two tests in other classes so lets see if I can break the streak with this one. Wish me Luck
Today I made BBQ chicken in my brand new crock-pot. Threw in some ingredients I thought would make it taste good and three boneless chicken breasts and let it cook for about 6 hours. I came back and the chicken fell apart (a good thing). I pulled the rest of it a part and made a pulled chicken sandwich with relish (don't have any pickles). It was absolutely delicious and very easy to make. Clean up was/is a breeze as well. Last night I learned to make the perfect hard boiled egg and made 12 of them. They are wonderful for breakfast. GO ME! I also learned about cooking potatoes in the microwave from my Dad. Thanks Dad! I now throw three small red potatoes in the microwave for a couple minutes and have a very nice addition to my meal which took no time at all. GO ME AGAIN!.
I really need to get back to studying.
Before I go though. I do want to mention I may suck at Biology HOWEVER, when it comes to experimentation I'm top of my class. I was able to hypothesize how to make our experiment work and it did. I'm happy and feel accomplished about this.
My day in a nutshell.

Ok. You need to give me that crock pot recipe. I got one for Christmas and have yet to use it!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. JUST SET IT AND FORGET IT. Okay here's what I did.
ReplyDeletePoured in honey, Kraft BBQ sauce, a bunch of chopped garlic, two spoon fulls of ginger and stirred, and three boneless chicken breats. Cooked on high for like and hour and half. Then on low for three hours. Keep the lid on as to not let the heat out. Whenever, poke the chicken to see how tender it is. My chicken was falling apart when I was pulling it out with tongs so I just turned it into pulled chicken. Absoutely wonderful. I'm thinking about other sauces I can do so when I come home from work I'll have a hot meal ready. What's nice is that all you have to do is throw in the ingrediants and turn it on. Everything is cooked and ready to go in several hours.
I may try this tonight so I have a good meal ready for me when I get home from martial arts class. Yay!
